Piazza Navona

Piazza Navona features three magnificent fountains including Bernini's renowned Fountain of the Four Rivers, its obelisk rising above the square, framed by baroque church facades on every side. The square itself was built directly on the site of the ancient Stadium of Domitian, whose oval shape still defines its footprint today.
