Once inside the royal upper chapel, you're enveloped in a breathtaking kaleidoscope of light, as sunlight streams through 15 massive, 13th-century stained glass windows. Fifteen massive 13th-century stained-glass windows depict over 1,100 biblical scenes, filling the royal upper chapel with a kaleidoscope of coloured light.
