Como transforms into a winter wonderland.
Celebrated from late November to early January, centered in Como and other lakeside towns. Christmas markets, light installations, and festive decorations fill the streets, including the Lake Como Christmas Market in Piazza Cavour and fireworks over the lake on New Year's Eve, best viewed from Villa Olmo and Villa Geno. Highlights include an ice rink in Piazza Cavour, the Santa Claus House where children can meet Santa, and the Christmas Tree in Piazza Duomo.
