Villa Jovis & Villa Lysis

About an hour's hike from Capri's centre lies Villa Jovis, Tiberius's command centre for the Roman Empire, reportedly using mirrors to signal the mainland. A short walk on leads to Villa Lysis, an Art Nouveau villa built by Count Fersen, then the scenic Pizzolungo trail past Grotta di Matermania to the Natural Arch.
